i love tattoos & piercings! people are always going to judge you when they see you: for better or worse. everything i have has significance to me: my sleeve & chest are all love imagery. i have a portrait of my grandmother on the inside of my right forearm. if i am being judged for my piercings & my work then they are basing these decisions on hearts, roses & a portrait of my grandmother. not many people are brave enough to wear their soul on the outside of their body. thankfully i have had people in my life that love me & encourage me to express myself. i encourage others to do the same.

I think I’ve been facsinated by tattoos for as long as I can remember. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would say a tattoo artist. When I was twelve years old, I wrote an essay about how if only I could get a tattoo, it would help me heal from the passing of my brother, even though before he died, he told me never to get a tattoo on my arm because I would look like a biker. I think I’ve done well in showing everyone how classy and beautiful tattoos can be, and hope to continue reversing the sterotype of the tattooed woman.
