I’m not really sure how I feel about this video.  I’m more of a stick parts of my body into holes kind of guy rather than a stick holes into parts of my body…LOL!  Anyway, Sar volunteered to help find some interesting videos for me.  When she sent this one over, she said, this is “some nasty-ass extreme body mods…you have been warned!”

I’m still amazed every time I see the extent of these pieces of human art.  I think these are all pretty fresh. I would like to see what they look like over the years. I guess when tattoos and piercing became mainstream, people started looking for what’s next.  I admire their comittment…but wholly shit!

Here’s a pretty decent video of Kat Von D talking about her ink.  I think it’s interesting that most of her tattoos don’t mean anything to her.  The reindeer jumping over barbwire is a perfect example.  She goes to a party with friends, lays out a bunch of tattoo pictures on the floor and then they flip quarters and whatever it lands on, you get that tattoo…wow!  …and what’s up with getting your spouse’s portrait tattooed on your thigh so you can see it whenever you go pee? 

I’m actually kind of facinated by knuckle tattoos.  With that said, I probably wouldn’t go this route.  The most classic moment in the video is when a buddy tells him he should do back up vocals for gay porn.  I also think it’s kind of funny that the tattoo artist is getting off on making the moan in pain.  His knuckles look pretty jacked up.
